Real Madrid 1-1 Man Utd: Away goal important - Sir Alex Ferguson

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson says he would have been happy with a draw before the game after their 1-1 draw against Real Madrid in their Champions League last-16 tie.

The tie is still "50/50" according to Ferguson, who says either side could win the second leg, and feels it will be vital whoever scores the first goal at Old Trafford.

Ferguson is full of praise for David De Gea who he says was "excellent" after making "three or four really top saves".
