Everton 2-0 Man City: Man Utd lead significant - Platt

Manchester City assistant boss David Platt says his team need to stay "professional" and try to win every match, despite Manchester United's "significant" points advantage over the champions at the top of the Premier League.

City lost 2-0 at Everton thanks to goals from Leon Osman and Nikica Jelavic, and remain 12 points behind neighbours United.

That gap could increase to 15 points if Sir Alex Ferguson's team beat Reading at home in Saturday's late match at 17:30 GMT.
