Roberto Mancini angry Vincent Kompany played for Belgium
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini says he did not want Vincent Kompany to go on international duty with Belgium this week and that "players should understand their club is more important".
Kompany, 26, played against Macedonia on Tuesday in his first appearance since January when he suffered a calf injury.
Mancini says while he cannot put his player "in jail for two weeks", he asked his captain to stay behind at the club for more treatment.
