Frank Lampard 'delighted' at new Chelsea contract

Frank Lampard says he is "delighted" at signing a one-year contract to stay at Chelsea.

The midfielder's existing deal was due to expire in June, and there had been uncertainty over his future at the club he has been at since June 2001.

Speaking to Football Focus, Lampard says it has been "quite difficult" recently amid rumours of a move away - but says Chelsea have been "fantastic" to him.
