Liverpool 1-0 QPR: Jamie Carragher a true legend - Rodgers

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers says the retiring Jamie Carragher is "a true legend" at Anfield, after the defender made his last appearance for the club in a 1-0 victory over QPR.

Philippe Coutinho's 25-yard strike was enough to give Liverpool the win, with Carragher being substituted to a huge ovation late on. The former England international was given a guard of honour by both sets of players as he walked out for his 737th club appearance.

The win means Liverpool finish the season in seventh place on 61 points, with QPR in 20th and last place with just 25 points.
