Darren Fletcher hopes 'fantastic' Wayne Rooney will stay

Manchester United and Scotland midfielder Darren Fletcher says he hopes Wayne Rooney stays at Old Trafford.

United have rejected an improved offer from Chelsea for Rooney of £25m plus add-ons and maintain the 27-year-old is not for sale.

Fletcher adds that he is positive he will make a return to action in the "not too distant future" following surgery to correct a chronic bowel condition.
