Newcastle boss Alan Pardew is angered by Arsenal's bid for midfielder Yohan Cabaye and says it had a "huge bearing" on the Magpies' 4-0 defeat at Manchester City.

Goals from David Silva, Sergio Aguero, Yaya Toure and Samir Nasri secured City an emphatic win at the Etihad Stadium, while Newcastle had Steven Taylor sent off.
