Aston Villa 3-2 Man City: Paul Lambert 'proud' of players
Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert says he is "proud" of his players after they beat a "powerful" Manchester City side 3-2 at Villa Park.
Yaya Toure volleyed in City's opener, but Villa equalised after half-time through Karim El Ahmadi before Edin Dzeko put the visitors back in the lead five minutes later. The home side came back again from Leandro Bacuna's free-kick and snatched the three points when Andreas Weimann scored late on.
The victory was Villa's first home win of the season and their third of the campaign so far.
