Harry Redknapp says FA leaders are not 'football people'
QPR manager Harry Redknapp says it was "almost a relief" to learn he had missed out on the England head coach job, but adds that the individuals making those decisions at the Football Association are not "football people".
The 66-year-old ex-Tottenham boss adds that he does not believe he has been disrespectful to current England boss Roy Hodgson in his new autobiography, following criticism from former FA chief David Bernstein,
Redknapp says he hopes England do well when they face Montenegro at Wembley on Friday and Poland at home again on Tuesday as they seek qualification for next summer's World Cup in Brazil.
