Hugo Lloris: Tottenham's Andre Villas-Boas stands by decision

Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas says the reaction to goalkeeper Hugo Lloris playing on after being knocked unconscious "astonishes" him.

The France international collided with striker Romelu Lukaku during the 0-0 draw with Everton on Sunday, and Spurs have since been criticised for allowing him to complete the match.

Villas-Boas "stands by the decision" to keep Lloris on the pitch, and feels Tottenham's medial staff have been "poorly treated" and "badly respected".
