On the eve of the draw for the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil, BBC Sport rounds up the key statistics from the 820 qualifying matches.

The 2014 Fifa World Cup starts in Sao Paulo on 12 June 2014, with the final in Rio de Janeiro on 13 July.
