Manager Manuel Pellegrini says he "never thought it would be easy" playing Crystal Palace, as his Manchester City side narrowly won 1-0 at the Etihad.

The home side finally broke the deadlock in the 66th minute when Edin Dzeko scored his 50th goal for the club.

Man City have now scored in 60 consecutive home league games, as the win moves them to the top of the Premier League.
