Swansea's Garry Monk 'proud' at manager opportunity
Caretaker manager Garry Monk says he "couldn't be prouder" at managing Swansea City and that taking over on a permanent basis is his "ultimate aim".
Club captain Monk was put in charge for the foreseeable future after Swansea sacked Michael Laudrup on Tuesday.
Monk says Saturday's South Wales derby against Cardiff will be "an unbelievable game", and believes Swansea need to "put right a wrong" after losing the reverse fixture in November.
