Hull 0-2 Man City: Manuel Pellegrini pleased with City performance

Man City boss Manuel Pellegrini is happy with his team's commitment and their reaction to being reduced to 10-men in the opening stages of their 2-0 win at Hull City.

Vincent Kompany was sent off in the 10th minute but Pellegrini praised his team's display: "Playing with one player less for 80 minutes is very difficult, it was a great performance."

Man City were playing their first Premier League match for three weeks and the victory moves them up to second in the table.
