Southampton 2-0 Everton: Own goal a massive blow - Roberto Martinez

Everton boss Roberto Martinez says conceding an own goal in the first minute was a "massive blow" to his side's confidence as they lose 2-0 to Southampton at St Mary's.

The Toffees fell behind after 54 seconds when Antolin Alcaraz headed Rickie Lambert's awkward left-wing cross into his own net, and with Saints on top, Seamus Coleman headed another own goal to make it 2-0.

The defeat leaves Everton a point behind fourth-place Arsenal, who have a game in hand in the race to secure Champions League football next season.
