Manager Manuel Pellegrini praises Manchester City's character after their "very tough" 3-2 win over Everton moves them top of the Premier League table.

Edin Dzeko scored twice and Sergio Aguero also netted as the visitors took all three points, despite goals from Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku.

City are above Liverpool on goal difference, with Chelsea two points adrift in third place.
