World Cup 2014: Ross Barkley and Adam Lallana should play - Owen
Michael Owen says Ross Barkley and Adam Lallana should both start for England in their first World Cup game against Italy.
The former England striker, who was selected for the 1998 World Cup squad - aged 18 years-old, believes the young players will have confidence and feel like they can "rule the world".
Roy Hodgson announced a 23-man squad on Monday that includes a mix a youth and experience, ranging from a 36-year-old Frank Lampard to 18-year-old Luke Shaw.
England play Italy on 14 June before meeting Uruguay on 19 June and Costa Rica on 24 June.
