Derby 0-1 QPR: Cruel way for Rams to lose - Steve McClaren

Derby County boss Steve McClaren describes his side's 1-0 defeat by QPR in the Championship play-off final as "the cruellest way to lose".

QPR, who had Gary O'Neil sent off before the hour for a late challenge on Johnny Russell, snatched victory in the last minute when substitute Bobby Zamora pounced on an error from Derby defender Richard Keogh.

During his interview after the match, McClaren was commiserated by QPR's Joey Barton and Rob Green, who he worked with during a short coaching stint at Rangers earlier this season.
