World Cup 2014: Netherlands 2-1 Mexico highlights

The Netherlands progress to the quarter finals after beating Mexico 2-1, courtesy of a last-minute penalty in their 2014 World Cup round of 16 match in Fortaleza.

Giovani dos Santos put Mexico ahead early in the second half, only for Wesley Sneijder to equalise in the 88th minute.

The match looked to be heading for extra time before Rafael Marquez was adjudged to have brought down Arjen Robben in the penalty area in the dying moments. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar stepped up to score and break Mexican hearts.

The Netherlands will now face Costa Rica in the quarter final on Saturday 5 July.
