Hull City 2-4 Man City: Pellegrini pleased with 'important' win

Manuel Pellegrini says he is pleased not to lose any ground to Chelsea in the title race after an "important" 4-2 win at Hull City.

Two goals from Edin Dzeko and one each from Sergio Aguero and Frank Lampard were enough to overcome Hull, who staged a spirited fightback in the first half to level from 2-0 down.

The victory ends City's worst run in the Premier League for 19 months, following three games without a win.
