Liverpool not good enough in Champions League - Rodgers

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers admits his team has "not been good enough" after their 1-1 draw with Basel dumps them out of the Champions League.

Steven Gerrard's impressive free-kick cancelled out Fabian Frei's first-half opener after Liverpool substitute Lazar Markovic was sent off for raising his arm in the direction of Behrang Safari.

The Reds, who only managed one win in six Group B games, now drop into the Europa League.
