Man Utd: Louis van Gaal backed by Sir Alex Ferguson

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal says the support he has received from former Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson makes his job easier.

Ferguson recently said of Van Gaal that he is "a great coach" who "will do well".

The former Barcelona boss adds that he hopes to make Old Trafford into a "fortress" and continue their current home form - they have not lost in their last eight games.
