Man Utd 3-1 Newcastle: 'Fantastic Christmas' for Louis van Gaal

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal says it is a "fantastic Christmas" for his side after they comfortably beat Newcastle 3-1 at Old Trafford.

Wayne Rooney scored a brace in the first half before setting up Robin van Persie after the break, and despite Papiss Cisse's late penalty for the visitors it was the home side that claimed the three points.
