Hull 0-3 Newcastle: John Carver praises 'excellent' Newcastle

John Carver says Newcastle had an "excellent game" after a 3-0 win away at Hull City.

Goals from Remy Cabella, Sammy Ameobi and substitute Yoan Gouffran gave Carver's side victory in his first game since being confirmed as Newcastle head coach until the end of the season.

The victory was their first since Alan Pardew's departure as manager, and their first clean sheet in 11 matches.
