Hull City boss Steve Bruce says crucial mistakes cost his side a result as they slumped to a 3-0 defeat at home to Newcastle United.

Remy Cabella's 20-yard strike gave Newcastle the lead before Hull's Ahmed Elmohamady had a goal ruled out for a clear handball and goals from Sammy Ameobi and Yoan Gouffran sealed the win.

Hull have not scored in 12 of their last 15 Premier League games.
