Raheem Sterling: Liverpool forward staying - Brendan Rodgers
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says Raheem Sterling will not be leaving the club this summer, despite a breakdown in talks over a new deal.
Rodgers' comments follow a BBC Sport interview conducted with the 20-year-old forward, who said he is motivated by trophies not money after rejecting a £100,000-a-week contract.
Sterling has two years left on a contract worth £35,000 a week and Rodgers believes he should treat the opportunity as an "honour" to play for "one of the great clubs of the footballing world".
