England international Theo Walcott smashed the Gunners ahead just before half-time and Chilean Alexis Sanchez thumped in a long range effort early in the second half. World Cup winner Per Mertesacker guided a third goal in from a corner and substitute Olivier Giroud scored from close range in injury time to make it 4-0.

The Gunners win the FA Cup for a record 12th time, after being tied on 11 victories with Manchester United.
