Man United boss Louis van Gaal cagey on Ronaldo reports
Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal refuses to be drawn on the likelihood of Cristiano Ronaldo returning to Old Trafford this summer.
Ronaldo left United for Real Madrid in 2009, external for a then world record transfer fee of £80m, but the Portuguese has been linked with a return to Manchester following reports that he and new Madrid coach Rafael Benitez had fallen out.
But although Van Gaal admitted he wants to sign a player with "speed and creativity", he refused to discuss any suggestions of a bid for Ronaldo.
