Patterson exits after Glens beat Carrick

Glentoran boss Eddie Patterson is sacked after his side defeat Carrick Rangers 2-0 at the Oval.

The east Belfast hosts picked up the three Premiership points thanks to late goals from Stephen McAlorum and Conor McMenamin.

However, the win was quickly followed by Patterson's exit after over three years in charge.
