Shrewsbury Town v Man Utd: FA Cup tie great for fans - Mellon
Manager Micky Mellon tells BBC Midlands Today he is delighted Shrewsbury's fans will have a day to remember when they host Manchester United in the FA Cup fifth round.
The tie, initially scheduled for 20 February, will be Town's first appearance in the last 16 for 25 years - and will see a return to Shropshire by United captain Wayne Rooney, who was stunned as a raw teenager when Everton were beaten 2-1 at the old Meadow by Kevin Ratcliffe's Shrewsbury in January 2003.
"It's great for the Shrewsbury fans," said Mellon. "To get that last-minute winner (against Sheffield Wednesday), then sit around the telly on Sunday night and see us pull Man United, it doesn't get any better than that for any fan.
"You have people stopping you to shake your hand. It's great for the fans. It's a chance to enjoy it, to go and milk every moment."
