Five-year plan to double number of women football referees in Wales

The Football Association of Wales is hoping to double the number of registered female referees within the next five years and develop international-standard officials.

There are currently 30 registered female referees in Wales and the number is growing steadily

The FAW held its first female referees' conference at the National Football Development Centre at Dragon Park in Newport.
