Furness 'felt emotional' as she returned to Northern Ireland action

Rachel Furness said she was "very proud" to be back in action for Northern Ireland in the friendly against Wales after opting out of the squad for personal reasons last autumn.

"I felt a bit emotional walking on the pitch," said Furness after Northern Ireland's 4-1 defeat in Cardiff.

"Result aside, it was great to get back on the pitch and put the shirt back on."
