FA Cup Archive: Martin Thomas earns Swansea a famous win over West Ham in 1999

Swansea City famously knocked out former three-time holders West Ham United in a memorable FA Cup third round replay at the Vetch Field in January 1999.

Martin Thomas put the Swans ahead against their London opponents who would go onto finish fifth in the Premier League that season.

Swansea were in the Third Division at the time (now known as League Two).
