Ulster SFC: Gallagher happy as Harte questions Donegal goal

Rory Gallagher says his Donegal side were "deserving winners" in the Ulster SFC tie as Mickey Harte is left unhappy by Donegal's crucial goal.

"We were hanging on a wee bit at the end but we expected the game to go to the wire," added the Donegal manager.

Mickey Harte felt that Donegal defender Neil McGee should have been penalised for over-carrying before Martin McElhinney blasted in the holders's vital goal before half-time.

"Neil McGee was tied up for what seemed to be an eternity and still got holding on to the ball but that's the calls that go against you or for you in a game," said Harte, who lauded his largely young team's efforts and insisted they can regroup for the qualifiers.
