Scotland is one of Europe's top surfing destinations - with locations such as Thurso, Lewis and Lossiemouth popular with enthusiasts.

Surf instructor Sam Christopherson started surfing 30 years ago, back when people just "went out and froze". But, with expert coaching and advanced equipment, the sport is becoming much more popular in the UK.
