US Open: Rory McIlroy delighted after 'best golf' of his life

Rory McIlroy says he played some of the "best golf of my life" on his way to winning the US Open by a staggering eight shots at the Congressional Country Club in Maryland.

The 22-year-old also says it feels like he has had to wait a long time to capture his first major and targets his second in the two remaining tournaments this year.
