Masters 2012: Blow-up helped me develop - Rory McIlroy

US Open champion Rory McIlroy believes that his final day capitulation at last year's Masters made him a "better" and "more experienced" player.

Whilst admitting that the defeat "took a big chunk out of me", the US Open champion thinks it will benefit his chances around Augusta this year.

McIlroy sees this year's event as having the potential to be "one of the best Masters ever" with a number of the world's leading golfers in form.
