Rory McIlroy will win more majors, predicts Tony Adamson

Former BBC radio golf correspondent Tony Adamson says Rory McIlroy is a "breath of fresh air" for the sport following his convincing US PGA win at Kiawah Island.

Adamson adds that McIlroy dispelled any notion that he was unable to play in unfavourable conditions by his performance.

"He deserves his position as world number one and I would already make him favourite for next year's Masters at Augusta - don't be surprised if he wins one major every year for the next five or six years," he added.

Adamson was taking to Wendy Austin on BBC Radio Ulster's Talkback programme.
