Michael Hoey 'privileged' to back Galgorm Challenge Tour event

Four-time European Tour winner Michael Hoey says that he had no hesitation in agreeing to become event ambassador in addition to competing the Northern Ireland Open Challenge Tour event which will take place at Galgorm Castle from 29 August to 1 September.

"To be associated with the tournament is going to be a privilege and it will be great to be able to give something back," added Hoey.

"The Challenge Tour is strong. You'll have maybe a couple of Ryder Cup players in the field and probably around 10 to 15 European Tour winners teeing up."
