Single-sex golf clubs 'not a problem' says the R&A's Dawson

R&A chief executive Peter Dawson says there "isn't a problem" with both men and women playing golf at clubs that have single-sex membership policies.

Dawson adds that the provision for golfing infrastructure for people to play in Britain is "totally open to both genders"

Despite clubs like 2013's Open venue Muirfield continuing with a male-only members policy, Dawson insists women's participation has not been affected.
