NI golfers Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell clear the air

Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell say they have cleared the air amid reports of a rift between the pair and speculation that McIlroy is to change his management company.

McIlroy refused to comment on the reports that he was about to leave Horizon Sports Management, the same company which represents the interests of his compatriot McDowell.

The two Northern Ireland golfers, ranked second and seventh in the world respectively, will play in the same group during the first two rounds of this week's PGA Championship at Wentworth.
