Graeme McDowell hoping to add Irish Open title to his CV
Graeme McDowell is excited about the chances of a domestic winner at the Irish Open at Carton House this week.
The Portrush golfer has won two tournaments this year and has recovered from the disappointment of missing the cut at the US Open at Merion two weeks ago.
McDowell and Rory McIlroy head a strong Irish field, with both men bidding to become the first Northern Ireland winner of the event since Fred Daly won in Portmarnock in 1946.
