The Open 2013: Tiger Woods in hunt after first-round 69 at Muirfield.

Tiger Woods recovers from a slow start to remain in the hunt at the Open, after carding a first-round 69 at Muirfield on Thursday.

The three-time Open champion was one-over after nine holes, but posted four birdies - and five overall - to finish two-under par for the day.

Woods is just three shots off leader Zach Johnson, who carded a 66 to lead the first after day one.
