Graeme McDowell says his game was below par at the Open

Graeme McDowell says he became 'impatient' after making a bad start to his final round at the Open Championship at Muirfield.

The Portrush player was five over par for his first nine holes, but recovered somewhat to post a closing 77, which saw him end the tournament on 12 over par.

"I made a very slow start and I was chasing things a bit after that. I'm not hitting it great and not putting great - on a course like this you have to be on your game," said McDowell.
