Rory McIlroy meets All Blacks rugby star Dan Carter in Augusta gym

Rory McIlroy is asked whether he attempted to convince Dan Carter to sign for Ulster after meeting the All Blacks star in his hotel gym at Augusta.

"I walked in and saw a big lad on a bike and thought that it sorted of looked like him but then thought, 'What would he be doing here'," said McIlroy.

"But then when I got on the treadmill and took another look, I realised it definitely was him so I went over and introduced myself.

"I think it would take a few Masters wins from me to try and sign him for Ulster."
