US Open 2014: McDowell positive after closing 70

Graeme McDowell says he will take "positive vibes" away from the US Open after a level-par 70 in Sunday's final round.

The 2010 champion from Northern Ireland started with an impressive 68 but dropped away following rounds of 74 and 75.

McDowell, who will play at next week's Irish Open at Fota Island, was disappointed with his driving at Pinehurst.
