Royal Portrush prepares for days in the Open Championship sun
The R&A confirms its "worst kept secret" as Royal Portrush is told it will host the Open Championship again - possibly as early as 2019.
Northern Ireland's First Minister Peter Robinson said that the news demonstrated what "peace and stability looks like".
"These men [the R&A] wouldn't have dreamed of coming here 20 years ago. This shows the new Northern Ireland, a confident Northern Ireland in a new era," added the First Minister.
BBC Northern Ireland's Thomas Kane and Mark Simpson report on a development which will see Royal Portrush hosting the event for the first time since the sole staging of the championship at the Dunluce course in 1951.
