Rory McIlroy 'comfortable' with decision to represent Ireland at Olympics

Rory McIlroy says he is "comfortable" with his decision to represent Ireland, rather than Great Britain, at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

The two-time major champion had been agonising over which team to compete for, and, at one stage, even considered not taking part at all.

"I'm 100% sure this is the right decision for me - I've played for Ireland my whole life and I don't see any reason to change that now. It's just a continuation of what I've done," said McIlroy.
