'Unlucky' Rory McIlroy misses Irish Open cut

Rory McIlroy says luck wasn't on his side as he fails to make the cut at the Irish Open for a second year in a row.

McIlroy, the highest world-ranked player in the field at number six, improved on his opening 74 with a two-under-par 69 on Friday.

However, it wasn't quite enough as he missed the cut-off by one shot.
