Irish Open: Graeme McDowell left frustrated by missed putts

Graeme McDowell is left to rue a number of missed birdie opportunities as he ends the Irish Open in a tie for sixth position on 10 under par thanks to a closing 71.

The Northern Ireland player was three shots behind the winner, Mikko Ilonen of Finland.

"It was disappointing to miss so may putts, especially when I was in contention. I ended up over-reading the putts and over-complicating my stroke," bemoaned the 2011 US Open champion.
